How Much Screen Time Should I Allow my Child?

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that children under two are not exposed to screen time because it can result in speech deficits (Pappas, 2020). Similarly, The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends a screen time of one hour per day in early childhood (Rathus et al., 2021).
